6
Part Series on Traditional and Contemporary Crafts TV
production company Ricochet. Ricochet are the makers of factual and documentary
programming for all the main UK and US broadcasters. Examples of some of our recent
work includes the Bafta nominated BBC3 programme 'Blood, Sweat and T Shirts' and
'Blood, Sweat and Takeaways' which explored the disconnection between British
consumers and the clothes/food that they buy. We
are currently making a 6-part series for a major UK broadcaster which focuses
on traditional and contemporary crafts. We have enlisted some of the UKs
top craftspeople from a variety of disciplines who will each mentor 3 apprentices
on an intensive training course. The crafts we will feature are Green-wood, Metal
work, Thatching, Stonemasonry, Weaving and Stained-glass. We are now specifically
looking for women who are interested in learning the basic skills of Thatching.

Pilot
for BBC Saturday Night Entertainment Show TV
production company called Endemol is making a brand new Saturday night entertainment
show for the BBC and we are looking for a number of teams to get involved.
We are looking
for people between the ages of 18 35 to work in teams of 3. They can be
mates, work friends or members of your sports team but must be fun, outgoing,
competitive, but most of all, up for a laugh. This group will go on compete against
another team of 3 in a series of physical and mental challenges.
This is a non-broadcast
pilot so there is a small cash prize up for grabs. However, we are hoping to get
a series commissioned of the back of the pilot. Should this go ahead anyone whom
has contributed to the pilot will be considered for the series where you could
be competing for big money! Auditions
will be taking place in London soon and the show will be filed at the beginning
of September. If
this sounds like your kind of thing, or if you know anyone who might be up for
it, please get in touch with me as soon as you can. Thanks
for taking the time to read this and I hope to hear from you soon.
